Troubleshooting

Start with the symptom that matches what you see.

Kindow cannot move windows

Check Accessibility permission first.

  1. Open Settings > General in Kindow.
  2. Confirm the status is Allowed.
  3. If it shows Needs Access, follow Accessibility Permission.
  4. Quit and reopen Kindow after changing the permission.

Kindow is not in the menu bar

  1. Open Kindow from Applications.
  2. Check the right side of the macOS menu bar.
  3. If it still does not appear, quit any duplicate copies and open the copy in Applications.
  4. Enable Launch at Login again if needed.

A display or window does not move as expected

  1. Confirm the display is connected and active in macOS Displays settings.
  2. Try Front Window first.
  3. Try Front App if the app owns multiple windows.
  4. Reopen the target app if it created a nonstandard or hidden window.
  5. Disconnecting or reconnecting displays can change macOS window placement. Use Recent Apps to recover quickly.

Trial activation failed

  1. Check internet access.
  2. Open Settings > License.
  3. Click Retry Trial if the option is shown.
  4. If the trial has already been used on this Mac, activate a paid license.

License activation failed

  1. Confirm the license key is complete.
  2. Confirm internet access.
  3. Check that the device limit has not been reached.
  4. If you need to move a paid license to another Mac, deactivate it from the old Mac first.
